After going undefeated through mid-February, Syracuse has now dropped five of their past seven games after losing 66-63 to NC State in the ACC Tournament. It’s likely that they’ll drop to a 3, or even 4, seed when the rankings are unveiled on Selection Sunday. The ending sequence, in which they missed four three-pointers with the chance to tie (and two two-pointers), was one of the crazier basketball series in recent memory.

As for NC State, they were included in the ‘first 8 out’ by both Jason McIntyre and Jason Lisk in their bubble post from earlier today, but this victory could very well springboard them over Minnesota, or maybe Iowa, and into the tourney.
