Finally, some good news for the United States about their World Cup group. The Jets have announced that the Portuguese national team will train at their facility, with pre-Brazil 2014 friendlies against Mexico at Foxborough and Ireland at MetLife. Clearly, the Portuguese FA needs to watch more NFL media coverage.

The Jets’ facility hosted Tottenham Hotspur during Summer friendlies in 2010. Spurs won just four of its first 12 EPL matches the next year and has failed to qualify for the Champions League since. Just saying.

We can presume one of these football on football videos is imminent.
