Paul George has struggled more and more as the season has progressed, but this is a reminder that he’s still pretty good at basketball. George had 27 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists against the Pistons on Wednesday night. Sure, these are the same Pistons who lost to the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, but you still don’t need to take 40-footers early in the shot clock against them. Paul George did just that in the 4th quarter when the clock was not reset after a Roy Hibbert miss and offensive rebound. Hibbert kicked the ball out and George was going to reset the offense, but when he looked up, there were just 2 seconds showing on the shot clock. So he shot it from the circle at halfcourt. It went in.
