Minnesota beat the University of North Dakota in the Frozen Four on a shorthanded goal with .6 seconds remaining. The score was tied, 1-1 as the teams faced off in the Gophers’ defensive end with 9.6 seconds remaining. Minnesota won the faceoff, moved down the ice shorthanded and Justin Holl somehow got the puck past goalie Zane Gothberg before time expired. Minnesota will play Union on for the NCAA Championship on Saturday.
