Division III College Baseball Team Steals Home For Walkoff Win

Calvin College, as I’m sure you’ve heard by now, beat Albion 3-2 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action over the weekend. The winning run scored when Grant VanPutten scored from third via the rare (non-Hollywood) walk-off steal of home plate. Call it some nice action from “America’s oldest collegiate conference.”
My favorite part of the clip is the Albion pitcher just decides to wing the ball toward home as fast as possible once he realizes its too late. Chill out man. Don’t want to blow out your elbow in anger.
