The Detroit Red Wings stole Game 1 from the Boston Bruins thanks to this bit of sorcery from Pavel Datsyuk. With three minutes remaining in regulation and the score still knotted 0-0, he gained possession of the puck in the neutral zone, casually tapped it through his legs and beat goaltender Tuukka Rask to the glove side.

How beautiful was this goal? Beautiful enough to make Datsyuk’s teammates think they were riding high in the saddle atop a majestic animal.

"“Pav picked up the puck really well and he did great move,” Tomas Tatar said. “It was beautiful goal. It put us up on a horse.”"
