Joba Chamberlain is loving life in Detroit as a Tiger. Unshackled from the New York Yankees rules of baseball decorum, the righty reliever has quickly grown a caveman style beard and become a vital “clubhouse guy” on the team with the best record in baseball.

Consider Chamberlain was the person responsible for that goofy picture of Bryan Holaday next to Kate Upton on Oscar Night that also featured Max Scherzer in a tiny sombrero. He also used a hook-up to buy the Tigers a sweet array of Zubaz pants and headbands.

His latest teammate-friendly move? An enthusiastic pregame massage for Danny Worth in the dugout. Look at the concentration on Chamberlain’s face as he tries to work the kinks out.

Love this guy.
