Remember when Kevin Durant and the Thunder trailed the Grizzlies 3-2 in the first round? And then the Oklahoman famously called Durant “unreliable“? Yeah, the NBA MVP has played OK since the calender turned to May:

"33.5 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 49 percent shooting, 40 percent 3-point shooting, and most importantly, the Thunder are 6-2, and are now headed to the Western Conference finals."

Oh, and he delivered one of the greatest MVP speeches in recent sports history.

All the talk about Durant leaving Oklahoma City for a bigger market in the summer of 2016? Shelved.

For now, it’s all good between Westbrook and Durant, and all the chatter about the pair playing together has been silenced. Then again, it’s not like the Clippers play formidable defense. San Antonio? We’ll see.
