Penn State Baseball Team Turns Two Triple-Plays in One Game Against Michigan State

Penn State and Michigan State met for a double-header on Friday with the Nittany Lions dropping both games at home. The two losses dropped Penn State to 18-31 on the season, but there were at least two highlights as they turned two triple-plays during Game 1. The first triple play came in the 4th when shortstop Jim Haley caught a line drive, stepped on 2nd and threw to first. The second came in the 8th when second baseman Taylor Skerpon caught a liner and flipped it to Haley who went to first for the third out for the second time in the game.
