Balls. Onions. Huevos. Marbles. Label it however you like, but testicular fortitude is all the rage in soccer coaching these days. Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone praised his team in this regard (or specifically their mothers) after it eliminated Chelsea from the Champions League. Leon coach Gustavo Matosas took it one step further in the Liga MX Clausura final Sunday night vs. Pachuca, figuratively pleading for his team to ‘show some balls’ as it tried to hold onto a lead late in the second period of extra time.

It worked, too, as Leon claimed its second straight title, winning the second leg 2-0 in extra time to take the overall series 4-3 on aggregate.

No word, yet, if the club plans to adopt this AC/DC classic as its new club anthem.
