Diving Catch Starts High School Baseball Game-Ending Triple Play

Menlo School-Atherton beat Capuchino-San Bruno, 2-1 in the Central Coast Section Division II playoffs last week. With the bases loaded, no outs and a 1-run lead in the bottom of the 7th, Menlo shortstop Mikey Diekroeger made a spectacular, game-saving diving grab that started a game-ending triple play.
