This Winnipeg Goldeyes baseball fan apparently learned from a previous experience. The fan, according to a Reddit user, had a chance to catch a foul ball during a game last season but instead moved out of the way because he was afraid it would be ruled fan interference. After that game, one of the home team players explained to him the rules of fan interference.

Fast forward to this season, same guy, same seat, same situation but this time the fan new the rules of the situation and didn’t back down and caught the ball. He wanted everyone to know that he was well within his rights to catch the ball and banged on the fence and then gave a thumbs up.
