Landon Donovan Heckled With Chants of "US Reject" at Game in Chicago

On a day when the United States was facing Turkey in a World Cup preparation game, Landon Donovan was in Chicago with the Los Angeles Galaxy against the Fire. While many fans would have liked to have seen him in action against Turkey (Donovan will probably play as many minutes in Brazil as Julian Green based on the evidence to date), a group of Chicago fans took a corner kick as an opportunity to chant “U.S. Reject” at Donovan as he bent down to place the ball.

Fans are fans, but come on. Algeria should have bought him a pass from this chant.
