Marshall Henderson’s 15 minutes of fame should have expired long ago. Somehow the former Ole Miss gunner keeps finding ways to make headlines by simply opening his mouth. Less than a month after his series of dumb tweets about Michael Sam, Henderson again found a way to say something moronic — this time at a basketball tournament in Philadelphia.

Sports Illustrated‘s fine college hoops reporter Luke Winn happened to be at the event — the winning team took home a $500,000 prize — tweeted this about Henderson’s pro future. Get ready to roll your eyes.

Let’s assume this latest statement from Henderson won’t be justified as some sort of psychological experiment, which he tried to do with the Sam comments.

If you’re scoring at home, CBS’s Gary Parrish doesn’t rank Henderson among his Top 22 shooting guard prospects for the NBA Draft later this month.

UPDATE: City of Basketball Love has a full story about the event from Jeff McDevitt, who reports Henderson is in Philadelphia working out and, ““living out of a bag and eating a bunch of hotel Philly cheesesteaks.”
