The St. Louis Cardinals turned their first triple play since 2005 on Friday night against the Blue Jays. The play began with a line drive off the bat of Jose Bautista that went straight to second baseman Daniel Descalso, who tossed it to short stop Johnny Peralta who then fired it to first to beat Melky Cabrera back to the bag for a 4-6-3 triple play.

The fact that the achievement came against one of the hottest teams in baseball probably made it that much sweeter.
