Landon Donovan isn’t going to play for the United States vs. Ghana tonight. Jurgen Klinsmann left the all-time leading U.S. goal scorer home. For the second time in less than a week Donovan has poked fun at his roster snub, this time in an ad for EA’s FIFA series where his digital likeness lifts the World Cup trophy.

Granted, as a long-time endorser and former FIFA cover boy you’d wager EA — and every other U.S. Soccer sponsor like Nike — would prefer Donovan was in Brazil and not hanging out in his bathrobe drinking coffee.
