Dutch midfielder Leroy Fer scored his first international goal. Memphis Depay scored his second of this World Cup.  The 2-0 win over Chile seals a Netherlands triumph in Group B (they only needed a draw). That should give the Netherlands a much easier route through the knockout stages.

The Dutch will likely face Mexico or Croatia in the Round of 16, with the winner of Costa Rica vs. Ivory Coast waiting in the quarterfinals. Chile, likely facing host Brazil followed by the Colombia and Italy/Uruguay winner, will have a much tougher route.
