Here's a Crazy, Bobbled, Diving, Cricket Catch

Trent Boult is the name of the New Zealand cricketer making the crazy diving catch in this gif. I’m not even going to bother predenting to figure out what is happening in this play or what would have happened if Boult hadn’t caught the ball. Instead, I’ll just marvel at the weird way he seems to catch the ball, throw it up like he’s saving it from going out of bounds and then lays out to make a second catch. It was good enough for some publications to throw out “best ever question mark” headlines and that’s good enough for me. [stuff.co.nz]
