Pheasants in England do not care about golf etiquette. Especially when the Irish are concerned. While Rory McIlroy was on the 8th green at Hoylake during the second round of The Open Championship, a pheasant ran across his line. Rory collected himself and made his putt. The pheasant was lucky to escape with his life as Rory had already shot two birdies during his round.
