Bad-Beat Poker Video Features Cameo By Star of Paris Hilton Sex Tape

ESPN broadcasted the Big One for One Drop, a poker tournament with a $1 million buy-in. On a hand where Connor Drinan and Cary Katz both had pocket rockets — and thus each had a 2% chance of winning, on the occasion where one of them hit a flush — Norman Chad kept talking about cutting the drama and just splitting the pot, a joke that Katz also made when the cards were revealed. When four hearts showed up and Katz won, he was presumably elated that his comment had not been heeded. It goes without saying how badly that sucked for Drinan.

One random aspect of this video is the cameo by table-mate Rick Salomon, who you may remember as the on-again, off-again husband of Pamela Anderson who also played the male lead in the Paris Hilton sex tape. Weird how he just keeps showing up in our lives in random places. (Salomon ended up winning $2.8 million in this tournament.)
