Sharknado 2: The Second One was the sequel Twitter demanded. Four days after its release, the film continues to permeate pop culture and is apparently poised to rewrite history.

Abraham Lincoln, our country’s 16th president, was so overcome with passion for the movie that he donned a Sharknado costume and turned on other great Americans during last night’s Washington Nationals game.

Crazy, right? You’d think Lincoln’s love of the theater would have dissipated.

It was the third consecutive night the Nationals have used the Sharknado theme in the mascot race. Like DiMaggio’s 56-game hitting streak, this is surely an unbreakable baseball record.
