Josh Reddick, the Oakland right fielder, had a slight problem throwing a ball in to second base in the bottom of the first inning against Kansas City on Monday night. Royals infielder Omar Infante hit a bloop single towards Reddick allowing Jarrod Dyson, who was on first base, to advance to second. Reddick fielded the ball cleanly but released it just a little to early and ended up throwing it to … himself, which is pretty much what Ryan Raburn did against the Royals in July. Dyson advanced to third and eventually scored.

Dyson also did a back flip after the Royals won and moved into first place in the division.
