Hawk Harrelson: "Next thing you know, they'll have catchers wearing skirts out there"

Noted intellectual Hawk Harrelson is apparently not a fan of the new rules designed to limit collisions at home plate. Before this call, White Sox catcher Tyler Flowers was ruled to have improperly blocked the plate, allowing Giants pinch runner Gregor Blanco to score.

Though he presumably didn’t express his feelings in a similar misogynist manner, Robin Ventura wasn’t psyched about the call either. The White Sox manager conveyed his dismay by kicking dirt all over home plate. He got ejected.
