Teddy Bridgewater Engineered a Comeback Drive for a Vikings Victory

Teddy Bridgewater was 16-20 for 177 yards and two touchdowns last night in Minnesota’s win over Arizona Saturday night. Obviously, there’s the caveat that this is the preseason, and the first and foremost hope out of any of these games is that nobody important gets hurt. Bridgewater was playing against 2nd and 3rd string defenders, or worse, and Matt Cassel also played well in the first half.

Nevertheless, Vikings fans had to be excited about what they saw out of Bridgewater, especially in the two-minute drill late when he was poised, cool, and effective. I’m not an NFL scout or anything, but the Minnesota rookie looked a lot more ready to play right now than Johnny Manziel, who is going to get himself killed, did last week.
