Neil Everett, on SportsCenter last night, was clearly perturbed by his network’s excessive coverage of Johnny Manziel and Braxton Miller.

“Guys like Bitsko don’t get headlines. Those go to Manziel not starting in Cleveland and Miller unable to play in Columbus.”

“With the latest on the Buckeyes, here’s Britt McHenry.”

Listen to how Neil Everett says her name. There’s a tinge of anger, it appears.

We get it Neil – there are super serious things going on in the sports world that merit more than a cursory :15, and the unexplained death of a 21-year old college football player certainly qualifies. Bitsko’s family, friends and teammates are grieving, and will be for a long, long time.

But you’ve been with ESPN since 2000. This seems like as good a time as any to take action. What do you plan to do besides grumble on air for a few seconds? [video via Cork Gaines]
