Oklahoma Student Newspaper Praises Oklahoma State Students For Good Spelling in Offensive GameDay Sign
College GameDay was in Texas last weekend for the Oklahoma State – Florida State game. Some Okie State students showed up with the above GameDay sign. Once the image spread across the Internet, Oklahoma State quickly distanced itself from the fans. It hasn’t been a good look for the school. With a rival in hot water, the University of Oklahoma student newspaper bludgeoned the school with a satirical article that would fit right in on the pages of The Onion or SportsPickle. I won’t even post an excerpt. I’ll just tell you to go read the entire thing.
Of course, no victory can be completely flawless. Apparently, this message appeared onscreen during the Sooners’ game against Louisiana Tech. Maybe next time.
