Bears Postgame Host: "I'd rather spend a weekend in jail than watch this game again"

Ed O’Bradovich and Doug Buffone played on the Bears defense in the 60’s and 70’s, and they host a postgame show on 670 The Score. As a Packers fan living in Chicago, and I know this makes me kind of a bad person, one of my favorite things about football season is listening to them after a rough Bears loss. Dropping the home opener to Buffalo, a team that was expected to be, as they put it, a “tomato can,” certainly fits that criteria.

Both are passionate, and it’s common for segments to get more and more heated until they reach commercial break, after which the process will begin anew. Eventually callers are added into the mix, and the show becomes something of a group therapy session. Doug and OB are both pretty knowledgeable, but there’s no traditional host to serve as a buffer for their anger, and things become unhinged sometimes. It’s tremendously entertaining.

We’ve embedded the first seven minutes of Sunday’s show for your listening pleasure; the entirety can be played here.
