Minor League Hockey Mascot Tryouts Provide Important Moment Of Levity, Awkwardness

The Adirondack Flames will debut in Glens Falls, New York later this year at the Glens Falls Civic Center. Before any hockey takes place, they will need a mascot. So a bunch of people from Mid-Southern Upstate New York showed up for mascot tryouts. The local newspaper was there to document the entire thing. It was weird. Some people were just having fun. Some took it disturbingly seriously.
