James Harrison Seems Happy Roger Goodell is... Under Fire

James Harrison has never been very friendly with Roger Goodell. During a Men’s Journal interview in 2011, Harrison had this to say about Goodell:

"“My rep is James Harrison, mean son of a bitch who loves hitting the hell out of people,” he says. “But up until last year, there was no word of me being dirty – till Roger Goodell, who’s a crook and a puppet, said I was the dirtiest player in the league. If that man was on fire and I had to piss to put him out, I wouldn’t do it. I hate him and will never respect him.”"

Goodell had fined Harrison upwards of $100,000 in 2010. It should be noted that in 2008, Goodell did not take action against Harrison following a domestic altercation where he told police he broke through a door and slapped his girlfriend. That is the un-videotaped past though.

Now the NFL Commissioner on the hot seat because of the Ray Rice scandal/incident/security videogate, the former Pittsburgh Steeler took the opportunity to compare Goodell to a hunter who had lost his gun to a rabbit. The rabbit is… the players? The media? I’m not sure who is the rabbit in this scenario, but the rabbit is going to get revenge on Roger Goodell.
