[UPDATE: Alleged Photos of Boy’s Legs Show Extensive Cuts]
Last year, Peterson had an infant son, who he did not live with or have involvement with prior, who was beaten to death in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Peterson left camp for a period to travel there. There is no other information at this time on the nature of the incident or the condition of the child, or when this is alleged to have occurred. North Montgomery County is north of Houston, and Peterson is from Texas.
Jay Glazer is also reporting that Adrian Peterson has been indicted and will have to turn himself in over the weekend; he was not at Minnesota Vikings practice yesterday (but according to Tom Pelissero, was in the locker room earlier today.)
We will update as further information comes out.
UPDATE: According to TMZ: “Child Protective Services confirms they are working on a case involving Peterson and an 11-year-old boy.” (TMZ has edited its post to now say the boy was four-years old.)
