Randy Couture Had a Fantastic Debut on Dancing With the Stars, Lolo Jones Struggled

Dancing With the Stars kicked off its 19th season on Monday night. Randy Couture, a 51-year old retiree, had all the women swooning. Couture introduced himself as a former mixed martial arts champion and told viewers they may have seen him in Expendables 3, but I can guarantee no one who saw Expendables 3 was watching Dancing With the Stars. Despite that handicap, Couture went out and had a grand debut, scoring one of the best total scores of the night. The judges loved him.

Meanwhile… Lolo Jones… *tugs collar*

This was not good. The dance. The interaction with the judges. It was all very awkward. The only compliment she got was on her legs. I have a feeling there were some Olympic-level track athletes and bobsledders who really enjoyed that performance. Even Michael Waltrip scored better than Lolo.

Meanwhile, Alfonso Ribeiro is the early front-runner to win it all. Obviously.
