The Jets lost to the Lions at home on Sunday. Once again quarterback Geno Smith played poorly. In turn Smith’s role with the team has dominated Mike Francesa’s WFAN talk show Monday afternoon. By 2:15 the Smith talk produced, perhaps, Francesa’s best eruption since Alex in Bedminster dared to compare Joba Chamberlain to Andy Pettitte.
