Julius Peppers Pick-Six's Christian Ponder, Struggles on Lambeau Leap

Julius Peppers picked off Christian Ponder and returned it 49 yards for a touchdown; as we were putting this post together, Ponder already threw another INT and the Packers scored again. As is evident from the GIF, Peppers still has insane speed for a 34-year-old, and he’s been a major spark plug for Green Bay’s defense all year. Against the Lions two weeks ago, he strip-sacked Matthew Stafford and recovered the fumble.

Though there was a lot of optimism at the time of the signing, and a bevy of stories about his renewed vigor coming out of training camp, it’s another thing to see Peppers getting after it. All that being said, he’ll need to sniff the end zone again soon to make up for this sub-par Lambeau Leap.
