Bartolo Colon earned his 15th win of the season for the Mets on Sunday. On Monday, the veteran pitcher and his wife Paula earned their U.S. Citizenship. Congratulations to both of them. Bartolo Colon had a solid if not spectacularly memorable season and was the only reason to pay attention to the Mets on the field this year. In his 17th year in the Big Leagues, Colon provided us with numerous highlights in his 31 starts and even flirted with a perfect game. Here’s hoping he plays another 17 seasons – and doesn’t have a D.H. in any of them.
