A third-division soccer match in Argentina between Deportivo Roca and Cipolletti was abandoned, after a brawl involving players, substitutes and riot police resulted in 12 red cards.

"The Cipolletti defender Marcos Lamolla was initially given a yellow card for a foul on Fernando Fernández, who protested and was sent off. This led to more protests, a scuffle and Lamolla was given another yellow card and dismissed. Lamolla then ran the entire length of the pitch, squaring up to Fernández, who was on his way to the dressing room, before being intercepted by a player. The pair lashed out at each other and that quickly led to a free-for-all with players lunging at each other with flying kicks and punches, before Cipolletti players fled down the inflatable tunnel."

Deportivo Roca’s coach found the players’ actions “disgraceful.”
