Sponsored post: every week we will put out our picks for the weekly fantasy football salary cap game at FantasyScore.com. This week, there is another “Free Roll” game where Big Lead readers can participate without making a deposit, and the top half of entries receive $5. Use this link to access the free roll game.

Let’s start with the value play for this week. With news that Giovani Bernard is not going to play today, Jeremy Hill instantly becomes a virtual must-play in the format, with a cost of $3,700–roughly half that of the top backs and about the same as Terrance West and Matt Asiata this week. Hill has a top 10 projection as a RB starter this week (the full rankings will be posted in about an hour) given that he should get a pretty large percentage of work with Bernard out, and it is against the Jaguars.

With Bernard coming so cheaply, we can go after some of the best players at other positions. There are a couple of other value plays this week that we will buy as well: DeAndre Hopkins going against the Eagles and Russell Wilson at QB. With Manning and Brady engaging in a showdown in what could be high winds, we’ll go to the opposite coast and just take a matchup with the Raiders.

Buying those values allows us to go big at other positions, and buy one of our top two matchups at RB (Arian Foster at $7,500), WR (Antonio Brown at $8,000) and TE (Antonio Gates at $6,900).

Here are the picks for this week:
