Robert Griffin III returned for Washington today, and his first field goal drive for Washington featured highlights that showed what can be both great and scary about him. He escaped Chad Greenway to hit Roy Helu for a 24-yard gain on 3rd-and-7. And then a few plays later, he was sacked by Anthony Barr. It was a hit that would make you gasp with any quarterback, but especially with RG3 who’s been plagued with leg injuries throughout his short career. Thankfully, Griffin seemed to be okay on the play, but his health will remain perpetually monitored.
