The 2014-15 NBA regular season is four percent complete, but we’ve already found our first feud and it comes from Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov and current Buck’ head coach Jason Kidd. The Russian fired the first shot on Monday at his former coach. Tuesday, when prompted by Milwaukee media, Kidd offered his form of a return volley.

From the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel:

"“I’m no longer in Brooklyn,” Kidd said. “Unfortunately they keep talking about it. I don’t. I’ll let them keep talking. “Now if it was me and him playing 1-on-1 on the court, that would be fine.”"

Given that there are reports Prokhorov lost something in the range of $144 million on the Nets last year and shrugged it off as, “no big deal” he could probably afford to arrange a high-profile game to 21 against Kidd. Despite owning an NBA franchise I have no clue how good Prokhorov is at the sport of basketball. The Russian does stand 6-foot-8 so he would have a height advantage over Kidd, if nothing else.

Chances are Prokhorov would probably prefer to take Kidd 1-on-1 in jet ski race or something equally lavish.
