Cris Carter Chides Ron Jaworski for Jumping the Gun on Colin Kaepernick

Last offseason, Ron Jaworski was effusive in his praise of Colin Kaepernick. “Colin Kaepernick could be one of the greatest quarterbacks ever,” said Jaws, via PFT. “I love his skill set. He throws with accuracy. And in today’s NFL you have to have mobility. He’s got all those attributes.”

The comments infamously set off a reverberation chain in ESPN’s Take Industrial Complex; Kaepernick and the 49ers have seemingly taken a step back this season, and the opportunity was ripe for Cris Carter to feed the machine.
