Sorry, everyone out there with an Aaron Hernandez jersey eager to show up at the Fall River Justice Center during Aaron Hernandez’ murder trial. The judge on Friday issued an order barring anyone wearing Patriots (or other NFL-related) clothing, buttons, or other objects. I preemptively feel sorry for the guy who shows up wearing his vintage smedium jersey as part of his everyday wardrobe, not looking to make a statement, and gets rejected because of this provision.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering why such a provision is required, there were plenty of people sitting in the crowd in Aaron Hernandez jerseys during pre-trial proceedings. Of course.

The judge also authorized nine seats in the courtroom to Aaron Hernandez’ family, nine to the family and friends of the victim, three to cameras, 20 to the media, and 20 other seats to the general public.
