Kevin Garnett became approximately the 34th player this season to call out Dwight Howard for being soft the other night. Garnett’s former Celtics teammate, speaking on America’s Pregame on FS1, recalled a time where KG became incensed after Howard was bragging before a game about having more All-Star votes. (Scalabrine also talked about KG’s respecting the game, which doesn’t exactly jibe with some of the histrionics we’ve seen from him over the years.)
One can envision Garnett holding onto this grudge for six years, stewing about it in private, and finally bubbling over during the first quarter of a game, headbutting him, and throwing a ball in his face.
