Heisman Trophy Odds 2015: Ezekiel Elliott Opens as 6-1 Favorite
By Ty Duffy
Bovada released their preliminary Heisman Trophy winner odds for 2015. Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott comes in as the leader at 6-1. Rounding out the favorites tier are Mississippi State QB Dak Prescott 7-1, LSU RB Leonard Fournette 7-1 and TCU QB Trevone Boykin.
QB Ohio State probably moves into that group, if the Buckeyes announce a one QB system. Cardale Jones is 14-1, J.T. Barrett is 16-1 and Braxton Miller is 18-1.
Long shots are long shots for a reason. The best bet among those is probably Deshaun Watson at 33-1. He’s coming off an injury. Clemson loses a lot. But, we know the ability is there. He would have been heading to New York in 2014, had he stayed healthy long enough.
