Gabrielle Union: "Charles Barkley's like the guy who came to book club but didn't read the book"

Gabrielle Union was a guest on Late Night With Seth Meyers Wednesday night. She discussed her mini-feud with her real-life friend Charles Barkley (which I somehow missed entirely last week?), wherein Chuck had said that her husband Dwyane Wade did merit an All-Star appearance based on past performance, she called him out on Twitter, and he questioned her acting ability (which she had done in her tweet, and man, this is all so dumb) on Inside the NBA.

Fast-forward to last night, and Ms. Union still had the squabble on her mind. “God bless him,” she said. “He didn’t get the tweet. His diss — his comeback — was like ‘she should never mention her name with Meryl Streep.’ Yeahhhhhh, that’s what I said. He’s like the guy that insists on coming to book club, but didn’t read the book, but wants to dominate the conversation. And you’re like ‘You don’t know what you’re talking about.’
