Jackie Robinson West has been stripped of their U.S. Championship according to ESPN. The Little League World Series team from Chicago allegedly used players from the suburbs to bolster their roster. Complaints were first levied against Jackie Robinson West late last year. All of JRW’s victories will be stricken from the record books. Via ESPN:

"The organization found that the Jackie Robinson team used a falsified boundary map, and that team officials met with neighboring Little League districts in Illinois to claim players and build what amounts to a superteam. As a result, the United States championship has been awarded to Mountain Ridge Little League from Las Vegas."

JRW also beat Mo'Ne Davis’ Pennsylvania team in the U.S. semi-finals.
