Akron is Paying Students to Attend Basketball Games

I’m not sure how the first night of the experiment went, but according to the box score the Zips drew 3,351 fans for Wednesday’s game against Toledo. According to the University website, there are more than 18,000 full-time students at Akron. 4,836 showed up for the Kent State game last week.
