Michael Phelps got engaged to Nicole Johnson, the winner of the 2010 Miss California competition. She and the swimmer have had an on again, off again relationship since 2011. The proposal evidently involved a frolic through the snow. Phelps had a rocky year in 2014, and hopefully this engagement is a sign that he’s in a better place now.
