South Carolina's Alex Destino Hits Monster Homer, Treats Fans and Teammates to Epic Bat Flip
South Carolina beat Northeastern, 6-4, on Sunday afternoon. Freshman Alex Destino capped off a 5-run 5th inning with a 3-run shot to right field. Destino also capped off his swing with a MLB-worthy bat flip. After the game, SC relief pitcher Vince Fiori posted a video of what I have to assume were some teammates, reacting to Destino’s bat-flip. Because baseball takes itself way to seriously, Destino later apologized for the celebration.
