Sergio Garcia’s drive on the par-5 18th hole during the first round of the Honda Classic ended up just in the edge of the water. Garcia’s ball was far enough into the drink that it was completely submerged, but not so far that he would have to stand in the water if he chose to play the ball. Sergio donned a jacket, took a massive swing at the ball and, amazingly the damn thing landed 25-yards down the fairway. He was able to hit his 3rd shot to 45 feet from the hole and 2-putt and save par.

Hitting out of the edge of the water with part of the ball showing would have been impressive enough, but hitting a completely submerged ball and making forward progress is amazing.

Also, his swing is gorgeous.
