Sidney Crosby did something last night during the Penguins-Capitals game that I’ve never seen before during a hockey game. That doesn’t mean it’s never been done before, but it’s still pretty incredible to watch, by Internet blog sports highlight standards, at least. Teammate Patric Hornqvist lost his stick and as it flew up through the air, Crosby caught it on the end of his stick, lacrosse style. Then Crosby passed it off to back to Hornqvist in one motion like it was something that he’s done a thousand times. Impressive. Very, very impressive.
