Melvin Johnson's Blown Dunk Came Back to Haunt VCU

Down one point with 3:33 left to play, VCU’s Melvin Johnson intercepted a Dayton pass. He strolled down the wide-open court for a dunk, only to brick it. The Rams had several chances to tie and win later in the game, but a missed three-pointer by Treveon Grahaam and a missed layup by Mo Alie-Cox solidified their fate and resulted in a four-point loss.
